NOPE Meetings

Meetings are NOPE’s signature events. Lively and well-run, they provide political insight and first-hand information about battleground states, candidates, grassroots organizing, strategic giving and volunteering. Attendees are given an opportunity to donate directly to featured candidates and groups without an obligation to give. Meetings are currently virtual.

2024 Election Recap

Wednesday, november 13

Although this was not the meeting we were hoping it would be, and although we are concerned about new threats to our democracy, we found reasons to hope. Many of these came from our analysis of some very encouraging down ballot results. Our keynote speaker, Jessica Craven, reminded us to spend time with things that make us feel grounded. And then to remember that we are formidable - and we will win. We predict that our progress over the next 4 years will be incremental, but we will regroup and continue the fight.

Gallery of Guest Speakers

We have amazing speakers at our meetings — candidates, leaders of grassroots political organizations, and leaders of organizations dedicated to protecting the vote. Here’s a sampling of the many speakers who have educated and inspired us.
